As the Director of Professional Services, Marti leads our Professional Services team, focusing on technology and data to tackle homelessness. Her work involves improving community engagement with Clarity Human Services and introducing new technologies. Marti is notable for her expertise in Outreach and the Customer Portal, which significantly contributed to their launch and helped communities enhance their response systems to homelessness.Her experience spans over a decade in various aspects of homeless services, making her a versatile and knowledgeable leader. In addition to her professional achievements, Marti is an effective public speaker, adept at conveying complex ideas and advocating for systemic change to diverse audiences. Her efforts in collaboration with Continuums of Care and different-sized communities showcase her ability to scale solutions effectively.With a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Belmont University, Marti combines her academic background with her extensive field experience to drive impactful initiatives and inspire others in the fight against homelessness.
As a Project Manager on the Professional Services team, Tina brings seven years of experience working to end homelessness across communities, leading street outreach efforts, planning and executing annual Point in Time Counts, and developing and managing multiple shelter and housing programs. As part of the Central Texas Homeless Coalition leadership team, Tina was integral in developing Coordinated Entry with the Balance of State community. After moving to Georgia, Tina worked within the Georgia Balance of State CoC as the Director of Coordinated Entry at HomeFirst Gwinnett (HFG). At HFG, Tina developed and implemented Coordinated Entry for Gwinnett County during the pandemic. To accomplish this, Tina built coalitions and consensus with well-established and new organizations to provide a robust response to homelessness starting during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tina’s organization and coalition-building skills can be attributed to her formal education; she holds a B.A. in English from Auburn University and Masters of Public Administration from Penn State, and her six years of experience as an Officer in the U.S. Army. Tina remains dedicated to serving her local community by serving on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Supportive Housing Association and looks forward to serving communities across the country as part of the Bitfocus team.
