Documentation and Training Engineer

As the Documentation and Training Engineer, Cheryl engages and partners across the organization and external stakeholders to understand roadblocks faced by teams and develop subject matter expertise on Clarity Human Services Software and other products. Through detailed documentation and training plans, Cheryl provides superior resources for clients and stakeholders to learn and understand Bitfocus’ products and services. 

Cheryl is an expert in technical communication and has been working in the field since 1993. Her experience includes technical writer roles for a prosthetics manufacturer and, most recently, manufacturing documentation for a miniaturized surgical robot. She has also conducted live training for large audiences and created video and training resources for various software. Cheryl has a degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University and was a member of the Board of Directors of a local domestic violence shelter from 2012-2017.
