Senior Interoperability Architect

As a Senior Interoperability Architect, Eric leads the design, development, and support of data integration tools and resources, including the ClarityHS Data Import Tool (DIT), external APIs, and related features, functionality, and services. Eric spearheads efforts to support and promote secure, standards-based integrations both within our Clarity Human Services SaaS application and more broadly across the HMIS industry. He has deep roots in the homelessness field dating back to 2003 when he administered the Sarasota area's first HMIS, growing the Continuum, and building lasting community relationships. He also helped stand up the National Information Exchange Model's Human Services domain, worked on the initial AIRS/Open Referral standards, and was Technical Advisor to Health Level Seven's Social Determinants of Health standards. Eric is a key stakeholder with a number of different professional organizations including Health Level Seven, Gravity Social Determinants of Health TAC member; the National Information Exchange Model, State and Local Tribal Team member; and the National Interoperability Collaborative, Project Unify, Ontology, and Architecture Teams Lead. Eric has his Master's in Public Administration from Portland State University.
