As a project manager on the Professional Services team, Jaid brings 11 years of experience working in the homeless services and human services fields. Jaid began her career in 2014 as a domestic violence advocate at Broward County’s only certified domestic violence center. In 2025, she transitioned into the role of a counselor for a CINS/FINS program providing prevention and intervention services for youth ages 6-17 and their families to help divert them from the juvenile justice system. In 2016, Jaid transitioned into a role of a case manager for a rapid rehousing program. The following year, within the same agency, Jaid was promoted to the director’s position for the agency’s overflow shelter program for families. In 2019, Jaid was instrumental in spearheading the implementation of Broward County’s first and only day respite center for families. In 2020, Jaid began a new role as a project manager where she facilitated groups focusing on financial literacy and how program participants could identify areas of their lives that they need to change. Program participants were able to explore resources that helped them build bridges out of poverty. Before joining Bitfocus, Jaid served as Broward County’s HMIS Lead Administrator where she provided technical support to provider agencies and users, as well as prepared and submitted all HUD federal reports on behalf of the county. Jaid has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology from the University of Florida and is looking to pursue a Master of Science Degree in Forensic Psychology. In her new role, Jaid is looking forward to leveraging her years of experience to continue collaborating with Bitfocus customer and assist them in making people-focused and data-driven decisions that impact their communities.
